BOOK REVIEW

The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment
by Eckhart Tolle

Almost all of our suffering lives in the mind's grip on the past or the future, and the present moment is the only place we actually have access to peace.

Tolle draws a sharp line between the person you think you are, the running narrator in your head, and the deeper awareness underneath it that's actually capable of stillness.

This is one of the five star reads on my shelf, the kind of book that doesn't just inform you, it interrupts you, in the best way.
