When the Body Says No

BOOK REVIEW

When the Body Says No
by Dr Gabor Maté

Maté's central argument still stops people in their tracks: chronic illness and chronic self-suppression are far more connected than most of us have been taught to believe.

He builds the case with decades of clinical observation and it is sobering in the best way.

I recommend this to anyone who has been told their symptoms are "just stress" and sensed there was more to the story.
